UC Santa Cruz is implementing its Strategic Plan for Internationalization (SPI), and corresponding Implementation Plan, both living, evolving documents that culminate our extended two-year participation in the American Council on Education’s (ACE) Internationalization Laboratory.
In 2020, the Global Classrooms initiative was launched by the Division of Global Engagement to increase opportunity and access to global learning opportunities for all students.
In fall 2021, professor Minghui Hu offered his online course in Global Environmental History to be part of the virtual exchange, and nine students enrolled from different universities around the Pacific Rim.
The Division of Global Engagement builds connections across campus to expand global learning opportunities for all students which also supports the Beyond the Classroom priority of our Student Success Initiative.
