UCSC delegation visits UK institutions to deepen relationships and explore agreements

A three-person from UC Santa Cruz, consisting of Professor of Politics and Chair of Committee on International Education (CIE) Kent Eaton, Professor of Politics Matt Sparke, and Senior International Officer Becky George, traveled to the United Kingdom (UK) in April to deepen relationships with current international partners.

Global Classroom

Three UCSC faculty and their partners abroad were selected in spring 2023 for a Global Classrooms award.

 
Sara Matthews Scholarship

These scholarships are awarded annually to deserving undergraduate international students of sophomore or junior standing at UC Santa Cruz to help with educational costs.

This year, 26 out of 72 UC Santa Cruz student applicants received the Gilman Scholarship, which means that one in three students who applied to the Gilman were awarded during this application cycle.
